We offer a range of services and programs for the immediate and long-term support you need to help manage any household or financial difficulties.

We also offer advocacy, support, information and advice and can refer you to other services and community activities.

Need support through COVID-19?

Our Emergency Assistance, Financial Counselling and No Interest Loans Scheme programs are here to help through the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are aiming to minimise face-to-face appointments as much as possible, instead offering support over the phone and online.

If you prefer to speak in person, our Emergency Assistance office remains open to the public weekdays from 9am-1.30pm. We’re located at 58 Dale Street, Port Adelaide.

  • Emergency Assistance

    Our Emergency Assistance service is still open to the public weekdays from 9am-1.30pm at 58 Dale Street, Port Adelaide. We are providing food, transport, pharmacy and phone vouchers to eligible individuals and families residing in the Western Suburbs of Adelaide

    To prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are not offering food parcels or pre-loved clothing and other in-kind materials until further notice.

  • Financial Counselling

    Financial Counselling is a free service for anyone looking to ease their financial stress. If you have recently become unemployed or are finding it hard to manage money during this pandemic, we offer a friendly financial counselling service which is supportive of your lifestyle.

    We can help you plan your budget, negotiate with creditors, organise debt and loan repayments, and teach you strategies for managing income and spending.

  • No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS)

    The No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) provides ‘interest’ and ‘fee’ free loans to individuals, families or couples living on a lower income. You may be eligible for a loan of up to $1,500 to help you purchase essentials you need – whether it be household furniture, items to assist with your child’s education or electrical appliances.
